1 lb. ground beef sirloin, 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. cumin, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. cardamom, 1 tsp. salt, 1 pod dried ghost chili (crushed), 1/2 onion, 1/2 cup fresh cilantro and 1/2 cup parsley-all finely chopped. Form into balls, and brown in skillet.
1 Tbsp. oil, 1 Tbsp. garlic chopped, 1 Tbsp paprika, 1 tsp. cumin, 1 tsp. white pepper, 1 pod dry ghost chili or 2 pods for very hot, 6 Tbsp. tomato paste.
Heat pot with oil, add spices, stir for 1 minute. Add 6 cups of water. Simmer for 3 min.
Add meatballs to sauce and cook until sauce is thick and meatballs are tender.
Add 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil.
