Flavorsome, spicy and textured, the 7 Pot Jonah is a chili pepper that is growing in popularity around the world. This unique specialty pepper originates from the Chaguanas area of Trinidad where its powerful heat also makes it qualify as an ingredient in military grade tear gas. However, they are primarily used to add a fruity and nutty kick to a variety of dishes. With up to 1.2 million Scoville heat units, they are strong enough to heat seven pots of stew, which is where the pepper’s name derives from.

The peppers themselves are bright red and have a rough, plump texture with small pointed tails.
